Algorithm for Determining Campaign Costs When Advertising a Coupon on Coupons.com + Whether to Use Bricks or a DFSI
You probably can't tell, but I just unlocked the formula for determining campaign costs for advertising $5 coupon using a dfsi vs. "bricks" coupon on coupons.com. This analysis took a little bit of time because I, with a helpful team, had to not only monitor then analyze average coupons.com statistics but also average redemption rates per various platforms to come out with this algorythm to predict results based upon different scenarios. Theoretically, if I know the average cost-per-print of the coupon vendor platform, the cost-per-click + average redemption rate of an advertising platform and the average redemption rate of a particular offer ($1 off, $5 off, etc.) PER INDUSTRY AVERAGE (yes that is very important – food has a different rate than clothes) … I can tell you how much it would cost to move X amount product and how long you might expect that to take when using bricks vs dfsi options in coupons.com.
