DeMet’s® Turtles® Launches Roll Out The Red Carpet Instant Win Game and Hollywood Sweepstakes

Thousands of winners will receive Red Carpet themed prizing – Grand Prize winner and guest flown to Hollywood

STAMFORD, CT — April 1, 2011 — DeMet’s Candy Company, makers of the famous TURTLES® brand caramel nut clusters, announced today that it has launched an exciting instant win game and sweepstakes.  Consumers can enter for free at  Bonus entry game codes are available inside specially marked Original variety TURTLES® 1.76 oz. 3-piece bars and Original and Cashew varieties 7 oz. stand-up boxes.

“We are looking forward to seeing where our thousands of winners will come from” said Mark Eisenacher, Brand Manager at DeMet’s Candy. “And welcoming our grand prize winner and their guest to Hollywood for a once in a lifetime experience.” Eisenacher added.

Consumers that visit the Facebook page can complete a fun memory game to match the various varieties of TURTLES® nut clusters including Original (Pecan), Cashew, Macadamia, Sugar Free, with the various packaging formats which include bars, stand-up boxes and the famous Mr. Turtle mascot.  Bonus plays are awarded for entering game codes found inside specially marked TURTLES® packages.

Winners are shown instantly and can score movie tickets, spa services, makeup gift cards, bath & body gift cards, free packages of TURTLES® nut clusters, and other great prizes.  Consumers can play the instant win game up to five times each day through June 30, 2011. 

Each play or emailed invitation to a friend receives an entry  (limit 5 total entries) into the final sweepstakes drawing where a grand prize winner and their guest will receive a VIP trip for two to Los Angeles, including airfare, accommodations, limousine and spa services, spending cash and an incredible behind the scenes tour of a major Hollywood movie studio.
