Sigma Nu Fraternity – College of Chapters
Leading the fraternity’s PR efforts, we took an unconventional approach to recruitment by hosting a poker tournament available to all students and inviting other fraternity chapters. Previously unheard of, it allowed us to showcase our friendly acceptance of other fraternity chapters within the University as well as receive otherwise hard-to-get “promotional” prizes from the local businesses within the community.
In recognition to my PR efforts and friendly social representation, I was sent to the National College of Chapters by the Head Chapter of the Sigma Nu Fraternity to speak to other Sigma Nu’s on new age recruitment practices, community marketing and innovative social networking initiatives.
Hosted in Lexington, VA at the Fraternity’s founding chapter, it was an honor to experience first hand.
