Today Twitter has redeemed my faith in the Tweet-o-sphere. In other words, I'm pretty stoked with Twitter's prompt, kind and transparent customer service.
After Twitter accidentally suspended the
@ToDoInLV twitter account I created over 2 years ago which tweets about
things to do in Las Vegas, I quickly sent the
Twitter support team a polite email asking why. After racking up over 5,800 avid Las Vegas followers, I was a little sad to see the account go. Within the same day I promptly received the following response from Twitter in the email forwarded below.
The best part is … Twitter uses automated systems to delete automated systems! Classic!!
Nonetheless, thank you Gobeee and the Twitter team for your quick support and understanding. Las Vegas tweeters (and myself, of course) appreciate it!

Hello,
Twitter has automated systems that find and remove multiple automated spam accounts in bulk. Unfortunately, it looks like your account got caught up in one of these spam groups by mistake.
I've restored your account; sorry for the inconvenience.
Please note that it may take an hour or so for your follower and following numbers to return to normal.
Thanks,
Gobeee

Hello,
Thank you for continuing to look into this issue for me. Again, as stated previously I have been administering this community for over 2 years with no problems and cannot find an email from Twitter in regards to this. After re-reviewing the rules, I expect it may either be that my account was compromised or something to do with automation, but I have been automating searches about things to do in Las Vegas on Twitter for 2 years and feel that the community appreciates learning about what is going on in Las Vegas, which thus concerns me that this is not the issue. Perhaps frequency requests have changed? Again, I would be happy to make the necessary changes to reactivate the account.
Thank you for your time and help, Anthony

Regarding: Suspended account Subject: why is account suspended after 2 years Description of problem: I have been administering this community for over 2 years and am not sure why this account is all of a sudden currently suspended. Did my account become compromised? I know it was mentioned that sometimes Twitter will suspend an account if it feels it has become compromised. If there is something I have done wrong by mistake I will be more than happy to oblige and find a resolution. Full name: Anthony Twitter username: @ToDoInLV Email address: Phone number(optional): n/a
